Okay, so I did not get much response to my question about letting google place ads on my blog, except from a few concerned individuals who thought I should be careful because of what is out there on the internet and what it might expose my blog to. Let me assure you that opening up my blog to ads will not change the who can see or who has access to my blog, my blog is already open to the public (google ryker ethan and see who comes up!). The only change is that I would be allowing google, which is where this blog already comes from, to put ads on my site that are relevant to the subject matter.
I am going to try it out for awhile and see what happens, if this offends you or if an ad pops up that offends you, feel free to let me know so I can decide if I want to continue with the ads or not. If you are not offended and want in on this experiment with me, I will keep you posted on how I am doing, but I am not allowed to ask people to click on the ads. Lets see what happens! You never know it might not turn out to be such a bad thing, and maybe I can put a bit away for Ryker's college education, but trust me I really don't have high expectations for making any money.
